Creating Giveaways

In any channel of the server, start typing /create - you should see something like this:

You have 4 required options to use which make creating giveaways simple and quick. Start by entering a channel - Discord will help you out by suggesting the channels you are typing, just pick one and the channel the giveaway will be sent to is set.

You now need to enter a number in the winners section - There is a minimum limit of one winner, and a maximum of 10 winners without premium. With Giftcord Premium you can have up to 50 winners per giveaway!

Wonderful! Now you need to specify the prize the winner(s) will receive. Prizes are limited to 100 characters to reduce spam and abuse. Please note that Giftcord will not automatically grant a winner their prize, for example entering "Discord Nitro" as a prize will not prompt Giftcord to automatically give the winners free Discord Nitro.

Just one more thing left to do... You need to specify how long your giveaway shall last! This is really easy and can be abbreviated in many different ways. Giveaways have a minimum duration of 30 seconds, while can last as long as 31 days! Giftcord Premium users are able to have giveaways last up to 3 months before drawing! To make entering a duration simple, follow this rule of thumb: 1h means an hour, 3d means 3 days. You could even do 5d34m30s if you so wanted to...

Congratulations! You've successfully made a giveaway using Giftcord's super simple and quick /create command. Once you've sent the command to the channel, you'll see this message to confirm what you've created.

Of course, not forgetting - the giveaway message will be sent to the channel you specified in the Channel step of the command. You'll see a message that looks something like this:

Now your giveaway is live and running, users of your server can choose to Enter the giveaway (by clicking the green Enter button), or Leave the giveaway (if they have entered it - by clicking the red Leave button). Users can also click the View button which will open the web browser to show a live countdown timer on Giftcord's website, alongside a list of users that have entered.
